Persōna

En la Antigüedad Clásica los griegos usaban máscaras teatrales llamadas ‘prósōpon’, tal concepto también se hace presente en el mundo romano bajo el nombre de ‘persōna’, que significa ‘máscara de actor’ o ‘personaje teatral’.

Persōna surge como un puente entre el origen de la palabra y sus actuales implicancias, intentando con esto abrir espacios de pensamiento y reflexión a través del diálogo entre las pequeñas personas que habitan la hoja en blanco y los títulos con sus descripciones.

In the classical era of the Ancient Greeks, they would use theatre masks called ‘prósopon’. Said masks would also appear later in the Roman world under the name ‘persona’, which means ‘actor’s mask’ or ‘theatre character’. 

The Person Project emerges as a bridge between the origins of the word and its current implications, attempting to create spaces for thought and reflection via dialogue between the tiny persons inhabiting the white page and the titles with their descriptions.
